What an unforgettable day at the Australian Taekwon-Do Championships in Melbourne!
Our incredible team of 10 competitors represented Port Pirie and Full Impact with pride, and every single one of them came home with medals! 🥇🥈🥉
Each student achieved amazing results from one up to three medals each, a true reflection of their dedication, discipline, and fighting spirit.
This is something truly special for our school, to see every competitor succeed at this level, and to do it in only for our second ever competition. This is an incredible milestone for Full Impact, and our Port Pirie community.
These results weren’t given they were earned, through weeks of hard training, extra sessions, and a strong commitment to self-improvement. Under the guidance and leadership of Head Instructor Louie Dimou our team showed what can be achieved through focus, teamwork, and perseverance.
Congratulations to our competitors Jakob Brown, Harley Winders, Brian Swearse, Nathan Bateson, Jack Swearse, Nash Swearse, Daniel Woods, Sophia Solgi, Oliver Woods, and Kyle Roberts, you have made us all proud!
Our Head Instructor Louie Dimou returned from Canberra with his recognition, where he received his official AMAHOF black belt at the Gala 2025 Event.
The students couldn’t wait to get their hands on it and here are some of our youngest members proudly holding the belt with huge smiles.
Moments like this show the joy of Taekwon-Do, where the success of one inspires the excitement of many.
A very special thank you to Master Anthony Pritchard and Anthony (Ginger) Sampson for joining us and being part of this moment — your support and presence mean so much. Congratulations, Louie!
A Proud Moment for Full Impact Taekwon-Do On the 2nd of March, 2025 as our students had the honour of celebrating with Head Instructor Louie Dimou, who was awarded the Bill and Heather Jones Memorial Trophy at The Sporting Association of Port Pirie.
This prestigious award recognises Louie’s dedication, leadership, and contribution to martial arts in our community.
Louie has been an inspiration to all our students, guiding them with passion, discipline, and a commitment to excellence. His hard work and mentorship continue to shape the next generation of Taekwon-Do practitioners.
Our students were incredibly proud to stand alongside their instructor, sharing in this well-earned recognition. Congratulations, Louie!
